July 2009--Landscaping continues to enhance the natural beauty beside the lake. July 2009--Pack a picnic and head to the beach! A new comfort station and picnic area have just been added. March 2009--Our Gazebo and lake are complete! Come and enjoy our tri-state views, now from a whole new perspective. Bench seating lines the inside of the new Amish-built Gazebo. A windy almost-spring day. The last light of a beautiful sunset. Enjoy a scenic landscape of the city of Galena from our new Gazebo. And it's even more beautiful at night with the endless stars and gentle glow from the town.
	Our Lake Diary
	Construction of the new 1.2 acre lake began in early October 2008. .
	October 2008--The lake is currently filling with water and is fed by a spring. Snow from the winter months will help complete the fill by Spring 2009.
	November 2008--A peaceful snowfall on the Lake...as it continues to fill. LeFevre offers amazing views and unforgettable sunsets...now over a lake.
	January 2009-- The lake is completely filled with water! ...And covered with snow. Winter temperatures have provided a solid covering of ice for builders to continue Gazebo construction--over top of the water. The Amish-built structure, which was special ordered and built in Pennsylvania, has arrived and is being fitted to its foundation. It won't be long now! Additional plans include a sand beach along one edge of the lake, a comfort station and special landscaping to enhance the natural beauty of the property as well as accommodate tent rental and parking for special events.
	February 2009-- The GAZEBO is in place and the bridge deck is being finalized! A warm winter day starts to thaw the lake. Record-breaking temperatures reached almost 60 degrees the week before Valentines Day!
